Flash

Some Pros of flash is that it adds light to dark places and takes away shadows. Flash also freezes time and takes away some blur. The Cons of flash is that it makes backgrounds really dark, disturbs the subject and can have distracting reflections off of glass or windows. Using flash is a good idea to use during backlighting situations or shadows on a subject. Flash is not a good idea when you are trying to see the background lighting, flash can take away and darken the background. The picture I chose is better for flash not being used because if flash were to be used the reflection on the water would most likely not be there. The clouds in the sky would be darkened and it probably would be close to black. Lastly, using flash in this picture will make the light look dull or make it look like the lights are not even used.
